| Alice Irvan has more than 20 years experience in marketing, research, advertising and public relations. With her background in multiple aspects of marketing and communications, Alice brings a unique perspective to research. She understands how to customize each project for the needs of the individual client. Her experience includes both customer and employee satisfaction/loyalty research methods. In 2003, she founded AIRvan Consulting to focus on research for public relations, marketing, advertising, and communications.
During her 12 years at Ameritech (now AT&T), she held management positions in market research, product management, advertising, public relations, strategic planning and marketing management. Later, she served as Director of Client Services at Walker Information (formerly Walker Research), managing large research projects for a variety of companies including leaders in the large engine, greeting card and eyewear industry. During her career, she also served as the Marketing and Communications Director for the Indianapolis Museum of Art, one of the largest general art museums in the nation, for almost four years.
Prior to founding AIRvan Consulting, she was Vice President of Client Services for The Loyalty Research Center where she managed the staff of project directors as well as directed large and small projects for clients in a variety of industries including financial services, credit, Internet services, manufacturing, travel, entertainment, insurance and other industries.
Alice holds an MA degree in public relations from Ball State University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is also an experienced focus group moderator with training from Burke and RIVA. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and an active member of the American Marketing Association. Additionally, she is a member of the Indiana State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the Indianapolis chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. She holds the Professional Researcher Certification at the Expert Level from the Market Research Association and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Chapter.
